This product was designed for single wall IC construction, for use in insulated ceilings. It has a 5.5" height that allows for use in 2x6 construction. This item has an advanced heat sink design for best heat dissipation to maintain maximum LED module life. The housing for this product includes LED module and driver unit, it also has adjustable housing that accommodates up to 1 1/4"ceiling thickness. Housing meets restricted air flow requirement (per ASTM E-283) and also meets ENERGY STAR requirements.
