The Big Island, by Fanimation, allows you to bring the tropics into your space in a major way. This fan was designed to support bigger blade sweeps with its larger than life DC motor which consumes 70 percent less energy than a conventional ceiling fan. Conserving energy never felt this good! The Big Islands blade sweep ranges from 60 to 80 inches, depending on the style of blade selected. Its DC motor operates on six forward and reverse speeds. Sloped ceilings are no problem for the Big Island; it can be installed in ceilings with up to a 30 degree slope. A remote control is included (an optional wall control can be ordered). All Fanimation motors are protected by a limited lifetime warranty.
